Why does Botanical Bliss Natural Skincare use polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic instead of other materials (i.e. glass)?

We use polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic because it is lightweight, durable and fully recyclable. While glass is an option, PET plastic allows us to reduce the overall carbon footprint of our products by making shipping more efficient and cost-effective.
