Why I Started Botanical Bliss Natural Skincare
Amelia JarvisFor years, I struggled to find skincare products that felt safe, nourishing, and truly natural.
As someone with sensitive skin, I grew increasingly frustrated by the long list of unpronounceable ingredients and synthetic additives in mainstream products. I tried dozens of so-called "clean" brands that support skin health, but many still contained preservatives and filler ingredients.
My passion for skincare deepened during the COVID-19 lockdown. I began following dermatologists and skincare specialists on YouTube, especially those who focused on skin of colour. I learned how fragrances, essential oils, and denatured alcohol found in skincare products can actually do more harm than good especially when trying to maintain healthy, radiant, youthful-looking skin.
Botanical Bliss Natural Skincare was born out of a need for simplicity, transparency, and trust.
Launched online on May 1, 2025, Botanical Bliss Natural Skincare is a brand that honours the power of nature. I set out to create formulas that feel luxurious yet are grounded in real, botanical ingredients—perfect for all ages and every skin type. The line is intentionally small with thoughtfully formulated and highly effective products. Every formula is handcrafted in small batches, using 100% naturally derived ingredients you can recognize—like shea butter, avocado oil, and aloe vera.

I did not want Botanical Bliss Natural Skincare to be just another brand on the shelf. I wanted it to be a movement toward mindful self-care, environmentally responsible, and conscious consumption.
